Out on a walk the birds are heard wildly chirping
Assuming happiness by flitting about between sprigs and buds of spring
The satisfaction of new growth, the beauty of new life
They chatter, they chirp, they sing
But do they know?
They flap their wings, they flit, they fly
But do they know?
Bird spirits signal another in soft decree
The sun is out, the skies are blue, the days long
But do they know?
They sing songs of familiar days and take watch from atop the trees
They comfort, they restore, they calm
