Lava Glow Jewelry is my new favorite thing!  I’m a bracelet girl and when attending one of Jan’s Open Houses in Corvallis, it is very hard not to leave with one of her new pieces.  I have a hard time deciding between one of her leather band cuffs with a beautiful gilded lava piece at the center or a delicate lava paired with beautiful beads and unique findings. Jan’s studio is a treat to visit if you’re ever in the area, and the plus is that you’ll meet Jan Maitland!  Her work goes beyond Lava with gilded bowls and beautiful paintings. I know I’ll be back soon.

Jan is such a versatile, creative artist.  I love all that she does and own some of her portrait art.  Yet most of all I love wearing her gilded lava jewelry to dress up my most simple wardrobe.  I always get admiring comments while wearing my lava jewelry.  How creative and so elegant and earthy to combine semi-precious gems with gilded lava.  Jan has put together so many beautiful combinations it is hard to choose what piece I want next.
