The Full Moon, Always A Vision to Behold . . .
Did you happen to see last night’s incredible moon? Wow! What a sight for inspiration and a new day.
My wish is for all of you to stay well, and take good care during this rough time all over the world. My thoughts are with all of you.
I had to take my dear 13 year old Daisy Dog to the Veterinarian for a checkup, today, and with last night’s full moon, I thought of this wonderful Mary Oliver poem to share.
of sitting out on the sand to watch
the moon rise. It’s full tonight.
So we go
makes me shudder, makes me think about
time and space, makes me take
measure of myself: one iota
pondering heaven. Thus we sit, myself
perfect beauty and also, oh! how rich
it is to love the world. Percy, meanwhile,
leans against me and gazes up
into my face. As though I were just as wonderful
as the perfect moon.
