One fine day, Madame Butterfly

Your kimono wings grace the stage of pinks, yellows, reds and orange

You sip sweet nectar with tender joy

We watch in wonder, mesmerized in thought

Whispers of Puccini harmonize mind with spirit

Your day is fulfilled, vibrant, vital

Cool leafy green your protected rest

Till dawn sings its aria
