In Pink
Cherry trees donning pink
Fresh starts in time so short
An artist’s tender palette captures contrasts of azure skies and peridot sprouts
Ever fleeting wisps exchanging winter for spring
Budded growth lets go for footed ground
‘Neath limbs once full of dainty flora
Petals drift and float with soft breeze and gusty wind
Flurries of rosy pink blankets fall on moistened earth awaiting fresh growth
