Abundant Color
Color abounds as tree’s glorious foliage bows in Autumn’s array
Her leaves succumbing to breezes chilled by morning dew and gentle rain
Soon to don another dress of darker style and minimalist hue
A break with nature’s summer heat and lighter beauty
Roots will seem to hibernate, surviving winter’s due
She holds tight, strong, bearing for seasons anew
