Lapis Lazuli is a universal symbol of wisdom, truth, and vision. Interestingly, the ultramarine color was favored by the painter, Michelangelo. Inspired by color, the blue of Lapis Lazuli looks especially magical with the gilded gold.
Deep blue Lapis Lazuli choker necklace is handsomely organic with my nugget-like and hand-gilded 23-karat gold leaf. The gold lava stone pendant is delightfully enhanced with hand-tumbled blue glass. I have included small red seed beads, and finished the choker with a 14-karat gold-filled toggle clasp along with my signature tag.
The necklace measures 16" (40.64cm) and is pictured on my life-size model/mannequin.
